Having studied how to put up structures and buildings in University, I found myself appreciating Architecture more. What I love about shooting architecture is the symmetry and structure everything has. I mostly use the rule of thirds or leading lines when shooting buildings. I also like bringing out the material, textures and other features that make the building or space unique.
Shooting architecture has taught me to experiment with different angles, perspectives and light settings while shooting the same structures. Architectural photography has also taught me to always work with what I have as there is only so much you can control when a structure has already been built.
